Coolidge draws on his account only two days before his presidency draws to a close

Commercial National Bank personal check, 8 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Coolidge as president, payable to Lerch’s for $2.60, March 2, 1929. Archivally double cloth matted with a portrait and framed to an overall size of 16 x 19. Vertical fold passing through the start of his name and expected cancellation stamps and holes brushing the top of his name, otherwise fine condition. This check was signed as ‘Silent Cal’ marked the end of his presidency, which officially expired two days later with the inauguration of Herbert Hoover.
