TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, United States Senate letterhead, January 7, 1936. Senator Truman writes William M. Kirby of Jefferson City, Missouri. In full: “Appreciate very much yours of the Thirtieth, enclosing me the Unemployment Compensation and Employment Service findings.” In blue fountain pen at the bottom of the page he has added the postscript, “Shall see the new gov on the 20 and open the subject up with him.” In fine condition, with a few faint creases. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
