Twice-signed vintage matte-finish 13.25 x 10.25 photo of Nimitz signing the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri, inscribed in fountain pen to a naval lieutenant and signed “C. W. Nimitz, Fleet Admiral USN,” and signed again “C. W. Nimitz, U.S. Representative.” Double matted to an overall size of 19.5 x 16.5. In very good condition, with signature and inscription light, but mostly legible, with second signature a couple shades light, but still completely legible, scattered silvering, and several creases.
