Andrew Jackson

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 15.25 x 9.5, January 4, 1831. Jackson grants almost 80 acres of land in Greene County to Thomas Weatherspoon. Signed at the conclusion by Jackson and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. Archivally double matted and framed with a portrait of Jackson and a name plaque to an overall size of 30 x 18. In very good condition, with two vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, some scattered light toning and soiling, light wrinkling, and a pencil notation near top. The white seal is worn, but intact and Jackson’s signature measures almost six inches in length. Oversized. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
