ALS, as president, one page, 4.75 x 7, Executive Mansion letterhead, October 11, 1886. Short letter to an unidentified gentleman. In full: “I am wondering why the painting does not start at my country home, and am anxious to see it begin.”; and an Executive Mansion card signed in ink, “Grover Cleveland, June 1896.” Both are archivally double matted and framed with a portrait of Cleveland and a name plaque, to an overall size of 17.75 x 17.5.
