During his first term in office, FDR gives his old friend, the manager of the famed Willard Hotel, a copy of his book

Signed book: On Our Way. First edition, first printing. NY: The John Day Company, 1934. Hardcover, 5.5 x 7.75, 300 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, “For Harry Somerville from his old friend Franklin D. Roosevelt.” Even toning to the pages, scattered soiling to the free end page and adjacent front board, and scattered stains to the spine, otherwise fine condition. FDR has made a one-word correction to page x of the forward, crossing out “party” and adding “property.” Somerville was manager of the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
