The surrealist adds a crowning touch to his name amidst a compliment for sharing one’s “rich experience” with others

TLS in French, signed “Salvador Dali 1966,” one page, 8 x 9.5, April 17, 1966. Letter to Lon Whitney. In full: “Mr. Charlie James tells me that previously you studied his theories on deep form in the studios of his fashion house in New York. So much better for you and your works with whom you share this rich experience.” Nicely signed at the conclusion in black felt tip by Dali, who adds a sketch of an ornate crown above his signature. Matted and framed inside a color print of a Dali piece to an overall size of 20.75 x 20. In fine condition, with a few light bends and creases. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
