Dallas nightclub owner (1911–1967) who attained infamy for shooting and killing Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, two days after Oswald was arrested for the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Ervay Theatre business check, 8 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Ruby, payable to 20th Century Fox for $17.50, September 21, 1953. Memo line reads, “Call of Wild.” In fine condition, with cancellation stamps to body, none affecting clean signature area. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
