Description

Scarce early Snoopy “doghouse” sketch meant to benefit less fortunate pets

Original vintage signed and inscribed ink sketch of Snoopy lying on his doghouse with a bird, apparently an early incarnation of Woodstock, perched on his belly, on an off-white 9 x 11 sheet of illustration board, inscribed, “To Racine County Humane Society from your ol’ pal, Snoopy” and signed at lower right, “Schulz.” Suede matted and framed to an overall size of 14.5 x 16.25. In fine condition, with light overall toning, and a bit of scattered light foxing. Snoopy sketches of this vintage size and pose are quite uncommon. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
