And we got the job done!’ I dropped the bomb at precisely 08:15 Hrs Eastern Pacific time. The bomb detonated one minute later at 08:16 Hrs. Japan surrendered 9 days later, saving nearly 250,000 of our servicemen. Tom Ferebee - Bombardier 6 Aug. 1945.” Scattered surface creases and a light paperclip impression, otherwise fine condition.
