Columbus’ patrons sign royal correspondence

Manuscript DS, in Old Spanish, signed “Yo la Reyna (I the Queen), ” one page, 8.5 x 9.5, no date. An untranslated document, signed at the conclusion by the Queen and countersigned by the King and Queen’s secretary Gasper de Trizio. Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, old partial repair to a triangular cut to body of text, mounting remnant on reverse, and a bit of mild toning, otherwise fine condition.

Manuscript DS, in Old Spanish, signed “Yo el Rey (I the King),” one page, 8.75 x 12, no date. An untranslated document, signed at the conclusion by the King and countersigned by the King and Queen’s secretary Gasper de Trizio. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, some scattered light toning and creasing, and some mild edge wear. Accompanied by an 8 x 12 seventeenth century copper plate engraving of Columbus. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
