Partly-printed DS, signed “Fredk. Douglass,” two pages, 3.5 x 8.5 (size of folded panel), and opening to a size of 8.5 x 14, April 30, 1886. Release in which the Arlington Fire Insurance Company is signed away from Charles B. Maury and Frank J. Rawlings to Alexander Porter Morse, signed on an outside panel by Douglass in his capacity as Recorder of Deeds in Washington, D.C. Partial separations at folds, small pencil notation to signed panel, and mild toning and handling wear, no faults affecting the signature, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
