It seems to me absurd that I, who have been called by many people both here and in Europe, the best mystery writer in America, should not be able to get a television program when utterly inferior shows go on year after year. Are we asking too much money?…For Playback, I have been offered the largest advances I have ever received …Helga Greene says I am paid the highest royalty of any writer in England…In my opinion, I should have had a television show years ago.” Staple holes to top left, light toning to edges, ink notation to top right, and a few light creases, otherwise fine condition.
