Tyler authorizes “Full Power” in negotiations with Chile

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 8 x 10, November 16, 1841. Tyler orders the Secretary of State to affix the “Seal of the United States to a Full power, authorizing John L. Pendleton to negotiate and conclude a Convention with the Chilean government upon the subject of claims.” Neatly signed at the conclusion by Tyler. Document is archivally sleeved in acid-free Mylar. In fine condition, with horizontal fold lightly affected the bottom of a few letters of signature, and a bit of trivial toning. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
