Short letter of response written at the bottom of a TLS to Wheat, dated June 2, 1955, inquiring if Wheat would sign a baseball if sent, which will in turn be sent to Cy Young, Ty Cobb, and Connie Mack. Wheat writes, “Mail your baseball to the address above & I will be glad to autograph it for you.” Neatly signed underneath by Wheat. In fine condition, with several intersecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
