Description

From them to you: Fabulous Fab Four signatures with Lennon’s very rare addition of the band’s name and glowing praise from Frank Caiazzo

Vintage ballpoint signatures, “John Lennon xx, Beatles,” “Ringo Starr xxx,” blue ink signature, “Love, Paul McCartney xxx,” and red ink signature, “George Harrison xx,” on an off-white 3.25 x 6 album page. Beautifully double suede matted and framed with an original U. S. mono Capitol Records copy of Meet the Beatles in fine condition, to an overall size of 27.25 x 23.5 inches. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, stating: “This page was signed by The Beatles in early 1963 and these are excellent examples of their autographs from the period.” In fine condition, with a bisecting horizontal fold, barely affecting a couple strokes of Lennon’s signature, and a couple trivial creases. All four signatures with Lennon noting the name of the band he founded almost never surface. This attractively signed piece, with its distinctive presentation, could easily be the centerpiece of any Beatles collection. Oversized. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
