Rockwell defends his privacy: “I had to make a rule not to have visitors at my studio”

TLS, one page, 5.5 x 8, personal letterhead, March 1, 1977. Rockwell responds to a question about the Old Corner House. In part: “I have nothing to do with the operation of the Old Corner House, but I know that their rules and regulations have been made for very good reasons…Because of my schedule I had to make a rule not to have visitors at my studio, the people of Stockbridge are very kind and considerate to me.” In fine condition.
