Ruth enjoyed adding “Pal” to many of his autographs, but only a finite number of ballplayers were lucky enough to call Babe a team mate. As a one-time pitcher himself, did Ruth gift this image to 1928 Yankees hurler Al Shealy or 1924 moundsman Al Mamaux?
