Hockey Hall of Famer (1902–1985) who, in the 1930s, was the only NHL defenseman to win the Hart Trophy as MVP four times, and who led the Boston Bruins to Stanley Cup titles in 1929 and 1939. Two business checks, drawn on the Springfield Management Co. Inc, Eastern States Coliseum account, both filled out in another hand and signed by Shore, “E. W. Shore,” one dated 1964, the other dated 1971. In fine condition, with bank stamps to both, one affecting a single letter of signature. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
