Vintage ballpoint signatures, “John Lennon,” “Paul McCartney,” “George Harison,” and “Ringo Starr,” on individual off-white 5 x 3 slips. A beautiful set of signatures in fine, clean condition.
Accompanied by a Variety office envelope, with a notation written on the front, most likely by columnist Army Archerd: “Beatles autographs, 1st U.S. (L.A.) arrival,” and listing the Fab Four’s names. If the notation is correct this would date the signature from the Beatles’ arrival in the summer of 1964 for their historic Hollywood Bowl concert.
