Stellar Apollo 15 flight flown ‘Terminator chart’ of lunar map, carried to the moon aboard Apollo 15, 10.5 x 5.5, clipped from a larger lunar map used during the flight, signed in black felt tip, “Flown to the moon! Al Worden, Apollo 15, CMP.” This chart was the final section of a lengthy map used during the flight for photographic reference. Accompanied by a letter of provenance signed by Worden stating that the map was flight flown and used for navigation on the lunar surface, as well as a photocopy of a certificate of authenticity stating that the full map was part of the personal collection of Dave Scott, Commander of the Apollo 15 mission. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold and original felt tip and pencil notations from the mission (including “Terminator,” referring to the line between light and darkness).
