French writer (1824–1895), the illegitimate son of famed novelist Alexandre Dumas. The younger Dumas’s novel La dame aux camélias became the basis of Verdi’s opera La traviata. Six ALSs, four one-page and two two-page, all signed “A. Dumas f.,” all undated and in French. Two are accompanied by their original mailing envelopes. In very good condition, with a couple of fold separations and some minor toning. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
