Entertainment Weekly magazine, dated June 16, 1995, featuring an image of Jackson on the cover, signed on the front cover in black felt tip. Magazine comes with a letter of provenance from the original recipient, reading, in part: “From April 2009 thru June 9, 2009, I made four separate trips to Los Angeles to acquire signatures from Michael Jackson. There was no bigger collector of Michael Jackson memorabilia then himself…He was especially fond of magazines in which he was on the cover. Michael would make daily morning trips to his Beverly Hills doctor’s office…He would always have his car stop when he pulled out of his driveway so that he could greet his fans. At this point he would take whatever memorabilia any of us wanted signed and would either sign it right there in his driveway or he would take it with him and sign it while he rode to the doctor’s or rehearsal studio…The last two trips we made, he was only going to the doctor’s office once or twice a week. However, he went to the Los Angeles Forum every afternoon for several hours of rehearsal…The Entertainment magazine was signed as Michael returned from a rehearsal in June at Center Stage in Burbank—it was one of only 4 magazines that I got Michael to sign—he took over 20 for his collection!” Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA, as well as a candid photo of Jackson emerging from a building (either the doctor’s office or Forum).
