ALS on a Satchel Paige picture postcard, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, no date, but postmarked April 2, 1952. Pleasant picture postcard to a young collector. In full: “I really thank you for this nice letter that you wrote me and I will keep this letter from you and I am very sorry that right now I do not have another photo of me, but I will send you this one.” On the image side Paige has signed and inscribed the photo in blue ink, “Best wishes Tommy, Satchel Paige.” Tape repair to right edge and postage stamp, and light overall surface impressions, otherwise fine condition.
