Letter signed by up-and-coming, 34-year-old Congressman John F. Kennedy

Offered is a typed letter signed by an up-and-coming, 34-year-old Congressman from Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy (1917-1963). Typed on Congress of the United States House of Representatives letterhead, the brief memo is dated May 9, 1952 and reads, “Dear Mr. Lavoie, —It certainly was nice meeting you while I was in Fall River.—I hope to see you again soon.—Sincerely, (signed) John Kennedy.” The future President signed in black ink, and the one-page, 6.25 x 9 letter demonstrates fine condition (mild handling wear).
