The great inventor cancels a $52,000 debt from his wife

Cancelled promissory note, 8.5 x 3.5, dated June 15, 1925, filled out in another hand and payable "to the order of Thomas A. Edison" for $52, 235.89 and signed at the bottom by his wife Mina A. Edison. Cancelled across the body in black ink by Edison who writes "Cancelled Thomas A. Edison." In fine condition, with light contrast to Edison's signature against note text, a few minor creases (mostly to edges), and a small bank stamp. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
