Lot of twenty-two items, including sixteen items signed by British artists including: an ALS from John Calcott Horsley (who designed and drew the first Christmas card), Henry LeJeune, George Raphael Ward, James Sant, (John) Frederick Tayler, John Linnell and Thomas Heaphy; and ANS from Thomas Uwins, written in the third person; and clipped signatures of Edward Matthew Ward, George Edwards Hering, Richard Ansdell, David Roberts, Edmund Thomas Parris, John Watson Gordon, Henry Warren and Edward Armitage; and six items signed by British authors, consisting of: clipped ink signatures of Anthony Trollope, Wilkie Collins (regarded as the first British detective story writer), Anna Maria Hall and an ALS from 1864 by Thomas Wright, all of which are affixed to two 7.25 x 9 off-white album pages.
