Highly regarded American painter (1889–1975) who was one of the leading figures of the “Regionalist” school of the 1930s and 1940s. Lot of three different color 6 x 4 and 4 x 6 postcard photos featuring examples of Benton’s work, each signed on the reverse in ballpoint, “Thomas H. Benton.” Each was also originally signed on the front in black ink, though these signatures are quite faint due to poor adhesion and/or fading. In fine, crisp condition, with a touch of mild rubbing and soiling. R&R COA.
