Meal included a club sandwich, a hamburger and two bar-b-que, with one person enjoying dessert as well. Joplin prints her last name on the back, adds her room number, then signs in full just below, all in blue ballpoint. Receipt was signed just two days after one of Joplin’s last public appearances. She performed Half Moon and My Baby on the Dick Cavett Show on August 3, 1970. Joplin and Full Tilt performed on the night of August 5 at Ravina Park in Highland Park, Illinois. Less than two months later she would die of an accidental drug overdose. A few light spots over small porion of last name of signature, some light spotting and soiling to front and a few light surface creases, otherwise very good condition.
