TLS, one page, 8 x 10, State of New York letterhead, June 15, 1932. Letter to a New Hampshire alternate Convention delegate, written less than two weeks before the start of the Democratic National Convention. In full, “It was good of you to send me a copy of your suggested resolution to be adopted at the Convention. There is much to be said for your belief that the present rules may be used to thwart the will of the majority. I shall look forward to seeing you in Albany on June 25th. You will be pleased to know, I am sure, that everyone here is most optimistic as to the final outcome.” Double matted and framed with an 8 x 10 photo of Roosevelt shaking hands with a gentleman in a pin-striped suit, to an overall size of 25.5 x 17.5. Two horizontal and one vertical mailing fold and a touch of light toning to left edge, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA. Oversized.
