In part, “I am sending you printed matter regarding this institution which I trust you will find of some interest and value to the student who is preparing the essay upon Tuskegee and its work.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink, with Washington making several corrections to text. Letter has a small photo of Washington affixed to lower left and the letter is affixed to a slightly larger sheet.
