Lot of two official presidential photographs. First is an 8 x 11 photo of a formally dressed Juan Peron (affixed to a 9 x 15 mount), inscribed on the mount in a calligrapher’s hand and signed underneath in fountain pen by Juan Peron. Second is an 8.25 x 11 head and shoulders photo of Eva Peron (affixed to a slightly larger sheet and in turn affixed to a 10 x 15 mount), inscribed in a calligrapher’s hand, dated March 28, 1951, and signed underneath in fountain pen by Eva Peron. Both are double matted and framed together, to an overall size of 24 x 20. In very good condition, with scattered spotting and toning to Juan Peron’s image and mount, a few light edge dings to Eva’s photo which is also curling up from the edges of the sheet.
