TLS signed 'T. Roosevelt,' one page, 6.5 x 7.75, personal letterhead, October 25, 1915. Roosevelt sends regrets as he passes on a speaking engagement. In part, 'I simply cannot make any other engagements of any kind or sort. If I make an exception in one case I have to make exceptions in scores of other cases.' Roosevelt adds, in his own hand, 'I am really sorry.' In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and an ink notation near bottom. RRAuction COA.
