A member of the Continental Congress for only a few months, Francis Hopkinson was a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. He later held a variety of public offices and left his mark on the fields of music, art and literature. He he also assisted in the design of the US flag. DS, signed 'Fr. A thirty day sight bill issued to Frederick Shinkle for twenty four dollars, Ornately engraved document is boldly signed by Hopkinson as Treasurer of Loans.
