The page is headed "Gospels II, Theme on Paschal Discourse," and reads (spelling and grammar retained): “Jesus left the disciples with a firm assertation that there was no way for man to get to the Father except through Him; that He must die, that we may live. The new commandment, that we love one another, I see as the keynote of the discourse. Love is the motivating factor behind all that He told us to do. He tells us that we must work in His name and pray always, and even though He is gone, His spirit of Truth will guide us and be our Helper in all we do, till He return. He comes back again to Love. We must Love progressively; we must grow in spirit and in Truth, and we have a promise of not only eternal life after this life, but the spirit of Peace in this life. Peace in Him; in knowing Him.” In fine condition, with some light dampstaining to the bottom.
