Limited edition color 22 x 28.5 print entitled ‘Naval Aviation in Space,’ numbered 537/1000, signed in pencil in the lower border by the original nine astronauts: Rick Hauck, Alan Shepard, Neil Armstrong, Charles Conrad, Jack Lousma, John Glenn, Gene Cernan, James Lovell, and Wally Schirra. Also signed by the artist, R. L. Rasmussen. Patriotically matted and framed to an overall size of 27.75 x 34. In fine condition. The signatures represent all of NASA's space programs, and include the first American in space, the first American to orbit the earth, and the first and last men to walk on the moon. The nine astronauts who signed were part of a symposium held at the Naval Aviation Museum in 1989 and the print was originally issued as a fundraiser.
