Signed on the front pastedown, "Franklin D. Roosevelt, Hyde Park, Rare: These McRae plates are extraordinarily good engraving for the period." The volume includes illustrations of Handel, Haydn, Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. Autographic condition: fine, with light staining along the edges of the signed pastedown. Book condition: VG-/None, with a mid-19th century gift inscription to first free end page, some foxing to textblock, spine cloth worn and detached but present, and a "Library of Lawrence E.
