Industrial designer (1904-1976) who helped bring modernism to the mainstream; he designed the wildly popular American Modern ceramic dinnerware series, the most widely sold in American history. Vintage glossy 7 x 9 close-up photo, signed in the lower border in blue ballpoint, "With Good Wishes, Russel Wright." Reverse bears a typed collector's notation indicating that it was obtained in 1958. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, and surface impressions from typed notations on the reverse.
