Semi-glossy 7.5 x 6 photo of President Truman meeting with New York governor Averell Harriman at the Executive Mansion, displayed in a 9.75 x 8.75 mat, signed and inscribed on the mat in ink, "Best wishes to the Ken Brownes, Harry S. Truman, 10/26/55" and "To the Ken Brownes, with my best wishes, Averell Harriman." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing to both the photo and the mat. Accompanied by a 1955 transmittal letter from Harriman's office, in part: "The Governor was happy to place his signature along with the President's."
