Simons, Jr. as United States District Judge for the Eastern District of your state. You may be sure that Mr. Simons' qualifications are receiving our careful consideration." In fine condition. Just over a year later, Simons was nominated by President Lyndon B. Johnson to a seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of South Carolina.
