Letter to William and John Bell, in part: "In pursuance of your request I inform you that I yesterday received yours of the 28th November enclosing a certificate for one share of stock in the Bank of Pennsylvania—for 5 shares in the Philadelphia Bank—& a draft on the Farmers & Mechanick Bank of George Town for $90.98." Mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 14.25 x 16.5. In very good condition, with creasing, short edge tears, and several intersecting folds.
