Minimum Bid: $300.00
Sold Price: $12,646.90 (includes buyer's premium)

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan album signed on the front cover in blue felt tip by Dylan. In fine condition. The record is not included. Dylan's second studio album, Freewheelin' features his songwriting at its finest—among the masterpieces on the album are 'Blowin' in the Wind,' 'A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall,' and 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.' Rolling Stone ranked The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan as number 97 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. It was also one of the first fifty recordings chosen by the Library of Congress to be preserved in the National Recording Registry as a 'culturally, historically, or aesthetically important' work. A marvelous example of Dylan's sought-after and elusive autograph.

Brennan recalled the difficulty of obtaining Dylan, “He’s tough to get now; all of my autographs and photos were done many years ago. He has a better quality signature now, but it’s more difficult to get.” In reference to the candid photos of Brennan with Dylan, “The photos of us together are from 1987; he was appearing at a Tribute to George Gershwin at Brooklyn Academy of Music. The album offered in this inaugural auction was signed many years later.”
From The John Brennan In-person Autograph Collection.
