Ballpoint signature and inscription, "To David, Best wishes, Ringo Starr," on the reverse of an off-white 2.75 x 4.25 card for The Astor Club. In fine condition, with a fold not affecting the signature, and light staining on the face of the card. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Tracks, as well as a letter of provenance, in part: "In 1982 I shared a flat with David Cowan in Archway…when he decided to use his skills abroad…the flatshare came to an end. While Dave was packing up his belongings, he came across the autograph and gave it to me. As far as I remember, he told me he had visited the club, briefly met Ringo Starr there and obtained the autograph…I seem to remember him telling me he was underage at the time he went to the club…so it would have been the early 1970s."
