Second president of South Korea (1897–1990) who served from 1960 to 1962 before being replaced by Park Chung-hee as a result of the May 16 coup. TLS signed “Posun yun,” one page, 7 x 10.5, personal letterhead, March 28, 1972. In part: “Enclosed are the Visiting card and a photograph…I hpoe [sic] these will add on to your unique collection.” A small repaired tear to the top edge and some show-through from another sheet affixed to the reverse, otherwise fine condition.
