#8467 - Four Horsemen Signed Display Estimate: $3,000+

Fantastic ink signatures and inscriptions by the famed 'Four Horsemen' of Notre Dame backfield, "Dear Joe, Thanks very much. Sincerely, Don Miller," "Best wishes to John, Jim Crowley," "Best of luck to you, James, Harry Stuhldreher," and "Elmer Layden," on individual 4.25 x 2.5 cards. Impressively double-matted and framed with a huge portrait of the 'Four Horsemen' in 1924 to an overall size of 25.75 x 31.25 inches. In overall excellent condition, with toning to the Stuhldreher card. Coached by the legendary Knute Rockne, the 'Four Horsemen'—quarterback Harry Stuhldreher, left halfback Jim Crowley, right halfback Don Miller, and fullback Elmer Layden ran rampant through their defensive opposition. During their three-year tenure, Notre Dame lost only two games. A superb display boasting the autographs of this legendary college football quartet. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
