Three TLSs from Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon, each one page, dated from 1961 to 1976. Includes:

The letter from Eisenhower, 7 x 10.25, personal Gettysburg letterhead, March 6, 1961. Writing from Palm Desert, California, to Dr. Harry J. Kearns, Eisenhower offers condolences on the death of Kearns’s mother: “Mrs. Eisenhower and I were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of your mother, and our friend. We join in sending you and the other members of your family our deepest sympathy.”

Letter from President Nixon signed “RN,” 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, January 12, 1973. Sent to “Jeane and Jim,” Mr. and Mrs. James L. Dixon, thanking them for remembering his 60th birthday: “Your kind message of birthday greetings helped to make January 9 an especially enjoyable day for me, and this note is just to thank you for your thoughtfulness and friendship. With my appreciation and best wishes.”

Letter from Nixon, 7.25 x 10.5, personal La Casa Pacifica letterhead, May 8, 1976. Letter to Ralph H. Brown, president of Ralph Brown Buick in Bethesda, Maryland, reading: “This is just a note to tell you how much I appreciated your very kind letter of May 3. Mrs. Nixon joins me in sending our warmest regards.”
