Edgar Hoover, with five signed “Edgar,” 27 signed “John,” and one signed in full, all typed on variations of his personal Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) letterhead, dated between 1936 and 1966, all addressed to drama critic and columnist for the Hollywood Reporter, Irving Hoffman, who has ‘decorated’ two of the signatures. In overall very good to fine condition. Accompanied by numerous copies and mimeographed letters with facsimile signatures of Hoover.
