The signatures were obtained as part of the Macintosh @ 30 Celebration at Flint Center, and the signatories are in the accompanying photo from that event. The celebration was produced by All Planet's technology veteran Gabreal Franklin, who was president and CEO of Encore Systems from 1985 to 1989. Encore Systems developed software for the original Macintosh, including CoreEdit, MacWrite, Full Impact, EtherMac, HyperSQL, and numerous other early Macintosh applications, while also providing core technologies incorporated into products such as Symantec's MORE, Movie Magic, and Intel's i750 DVI.
