Three Apple Computer corporate presentation and marketing videotapes from the John Sculley era, consisting of two 3/4-inch ‘Macintosh in Entertainment’ presentation tapes and an ‘Apple Fall Product Introduction’ commercial tape. Housed in their original clamshell cases with front caption sheets, which read:
- “Macintosh in Entertainment/Looped” (27:25), a color 3/4-inch presentation tape prepared for continuous exhibition or display use.
- “Macintosh in Entertainment/Sculley” (23:30), a color 3/4-inch "Dub Sub" presentation tape associated with Apple CEO John Sculley.
- “Apple Computer Fall Product Intro., Industrial Revelation, New Commercial :60,” a videotape containing a 60-second promotional commercial prepared for an Apple Fall Product Introduction campaign.
The two Macintosh tapes retain their original Apple Computer labels bearing the rainbow Apple logo and Cupertino address. Also included with the Sculley tape is an original handwritten cueing note for a live presentation introduction, accompanied by the business card of Apple Specialized Chain Account Manager Leslie Bauer. In overall fine condition. Produced during Apple's expansion into creative and professional markets, these uncommon corporate videotapes document the company's marketing, presentation, and industry-outreach efforts at a formative stage in Macintosh adoption.
