From the personal collection of Del Yocam, who notes that it was given to him while working as Apple's COO, and that it hung in his office at Apple. Yocam joined Apple Computer in 1979 as vice president of manufacturing and operations, overseeing the Apple II group. He became Apple's first chief operating officer (COO) in 1986, remaining in that position for three years before becoming president of Apple Pacific. He retired from Apple on his tenth anniversary in 1989.
